The uvex tune-up insoles have been developed to enhance individual comfort for different foot types. Each foot has a longitudinal and a transverse arch that distribute weight and act as natural cushioning elements. High or frequent loads, weakened muscles and ligaments, or congenital insufficiencies can affect the formation of the foot's longitudinal and transverse arches. This can lead to various misalignments such as flat feet (lowered longitudinal arch), hollow feet (pronounced longitudinal arch), or splay feet (lowered transverse arch), which can subsequently cause pain. By using the tune-up insoles, the transverse arch can be supported and the contact area enlarged, leading to better pressure distribution. This can increase wearing comfort and reduce pain and fatigue without compromising the protective function of safety shoes.
