The design and the warming feel are similar to a down vest, but it is less sensitive to dirt and moisture. The water-repellent microfiber material retains warmth even when damp and is easily machine washable. Additionally, the vest is windproof thanks to the extremely finely woven outer fabric made of polyester yarn.
