The sailing jacket has been tested in a rain simulator, under the conditions of a moderate downpour. Moderate rain corresponds to a rate of 60 l/m²/h (precipitation amount of 60 mm/h) for 2 hours. Material with a water column of 2000 mm (average water pressure generated during a rain shower). All seams are sealed. The collar closes with a zipper that can be pulled up to the mouth for better protection against wind and spray. The pocket is positioned so that it can be accessed without obstruction when wearing a buoyancy aid of 50 Newtons.

The pocket is lightweight and takes up little space, allowing for unrestricted movement and maneuverability.
