Seeland Taiga jacket

The Taiga is Seeland's warmest hunting jacket, inspired by the coldest regions of Siberia. This ultra-warm jacket is designed to withstand icy weather conditions, making it ideal for sitting hunts or snowmobiling. It is waterproof and features a WindBeater membrane, along with 250 grams of insulation, the thickest available. Inside, microfleece in the jacket and hood provides warmth, while the polyester lining in the sleeves makes it easier to slide your arms in.

The jacket incorporates groundbreaking Thinsulate technology, which uses fine microfibers to trap warm air molecules. Once the body warms up, Thinsulate helps maintain the temperature while moisture is drawn away through the outer membrane. The jacket has a removable hood with a high collar for complete protection against the cold. Areas that experience heavy wear are reinforced to increase durability, and the lower part is made of water-repellent Oxford nylon.

It features several practical pockets: a radio pocket, a fleece-lined hand warmer pocket, an inner pocket, and two large front pockets with quick-load straps, as well as a pocket behind the front pockets for resting the shooting arm. Additional features include a two-way zipper, snap buttons, and adjustable hood, cuffs, and hem, along with soft storm cuffs with thumbholes to keep the wind out. When combined with the Taiga trousers and mittens, it creates an exceptionally insulating hunting suit suitable for both rifle and shotgun use, even in subzero temperatures.
