Secrid has created a collection of wallets inspired by Dutch masterpieces from the Mauritshuis in The Hague: a small world-class museum with an impressive collection of Dutch paintings from the era of Rembrandt and Vermeer. The Girl with a Pearl Earring is one of the most iconic works of the Dutch masters. Vermeer was the master of light, as shown by the softness of the girl's face and the light reflections on her moist lips. And of course, the pearl, which consists of just a few masterfully placed brushstrokes, is the centerpiece of the wallet.

Wallets have to endure a lot. Therefore, Secrid tests every new product and develops it for quality and durability. After extensive testing, Secrid can confirm that the print retains its appeal and does not fade during use.

Soft Italian calf leather serves as the base for the Art collection. The artworks have been printed on the leather in exquisite detail, allowing even the smallest details, such as cracks in the paint, to be visible. An engraving on the inside of the wallet tells the story of the paintings and where they can be found in the museum.
