The Riff grey eco by Scott is a pair of sunglasses that takes responsibility for the environment. It is a re-source product from Scott – the frame is made from recycled nylon sourced from nylon waste, such as fishing nets, fabric scraps, and carpets. The lenses are made from bionylon, and the Riff also comes with a case made from recycled materials. When you enjoy a very bright, sunny day, you are exposed to strong light that contains particularly intense blue light. At high light intensity, blue light poses a risk to the eyes. This high intensity also makes it difficult to focus on other colors due to ambient brightness, thereby reducing contrast. Therefore, the grey eco (Sun) lenses have been developed to filter out as many of these blue rays as possible while retaining the rays that contribute to contrast and clarity. Additionally, the temples impress with their innovative hinge-flex construction combined with structured temple ends, minimizing pressure points while providing excellent support.
