Product details
Hiking in winter. The Rush Polar GTX is the warm companion on cold days in the Rush family from Scarpa. The shoe is designed for the winter season. This means it is the shoe of choice when temperatures are low and you want to get outside for a hike in the snow. If you end up in a warm room during your hike, the water-repellent outer material and GORE-TEX Duratherm technology ensure that your feet stay dry. Good grip on snow and ice. The combination of GORE-TEX and Primaloft in the lining maintains a comfortable temperature in the boot down to -8 degrees Celsius, and the protection against cold and frostbite goes much further. The boot not only provides warmth on hikes, but also a good grip on wintry surfaces. The Presa TRK-02 sole ensures good grip and a comfortable fit in the shoe. This means that your feet get tired less quickly and nothing stands in the way of an extended winter hike.

The trekking boot with a fairly stiff sole leaves room for the forefoot, offers great edging, good friction, top snow grip without smearing and some grip in icy conditions. However, the lateral support is moderate and the boot is relatively heavy.
