Since they are made from mesh material, they function quite differently from most packing bags and offer entirely different features. There are things in this world that you do not want to pack, transport, or store in a waterproof or airtight manner, and mesh provides just that. Additionally, you can see through the mesh, making it easier to identify the contents of each bag when you have a lot packed with various gear.
