Samsonite was founded in 1910 by Jesse Shwayder in Denver and started with the production of heavy wooden trunks. Later, the company was renamed Shwayder Brothers, Inc. In 1941, it launched the Samsonite Streamline, a suitcase-like piece of luggage, which led to the development of the brand we know today. Samsonite became a household name for customers, resulting in another name change.

Today, the wide range includes suitcases, travel bags, backpacks, laptop bags, and other travel accessories. Samsonite is now the global market leader in travel luggage, thanks to the excellent quality of its products that withstand the high demands of travel. Samsonite luggage is always reliable. If something does break within the warranty period, the suitcase can be repaired at an authorized Samsonite service center.

This product and/or its packaging are made from recycled materials. Parts of it are made from recycled raw materials, which is more environmentally friendly as the raw materials do not need to be newly sourced at a high cost. Yogurt cups, single-use bottles, plastic waste, and film packaging are incorporated into the production cycle through recycling.
