The Salewa Committed symbol indicates products that meet strict internal criteria at Salewa regarding environmental and social sustainability. A Salewa product must fulfill two mandatory criteria as well as at least one additional criterion.

2. Monitoring of social standards in production: The second mandatory criterion is adherence to social standards and appropriate working conditions at a production facility, which are verified by external audits.

Additional criteria may include upcycling, recycling, specific material compositions, PFC-free impregnations, or down sourced from responsible farming, depending on the product.
