During intense, fast-paced speed hiking tours, we need clothing that maintains high functionality even in changing stop-and-go phases, while still being able to compress small enough to fit in a backpack.

The Pedroc 2.5L Powertex® Light Jacket has been specifically developed for such requirements: this super lightweight, waterproof, and technical women's hardshell jacket features a 2.5-layer construction with a water column of 10,000 millimeters. The water column measures the pressure required for water to penetrate the fabric. Additionally, all seams are fully taped to ensure that rain has no chance of getting in. Despite this, the jacket remains extremely breathable at 40,000 g/m²/24h, allowing 40 liters of water vapor to evaporate per square meter within 24 hours. This ensures that the jacket provides comfortable wear during strenuous speed hiking activities. The athletic cut jacket has two side zip pockets for small items, and the fitted hood along with the elastic cuffs help prevent wind and moisture from entering.

The Pedroc 2.5L Powertex® Light Jacket is part of the SALEWA® Committed collection, meeting our high social and ecological standards to leave a minimal ecological footprint. The jacket is treated with a PFC-free, durable water-repellent DWR finish that contains no fluorocarbons.
