The Ortles GORE-TEX Pro Jacket is a high-end alpine hardshell that combines waterproof and extremely breathable 3-layer GORE-TEX Pro. Its close-fitting design features an ergonomically shaped, helmet-compatible storm hood that provides an extended field of vision and includes a rear zipper gusset for a precise fit, even when not wearing a helmet. We have integrated a number of pockets specifically designed for mountain activities: including two large, high-set chest pockets that are easily accessible even when wearing a climbing harness, and an inner stretch-mesh pocket for spare gloves, as well as deep side zippers that offer excellent ventilation. A soft, comfortable chin guard made of neoprene fabric is attached at the chin, which is very useful on colder days.
