Salewa Vioz Powertex/Polartec® Wool Alpha® Softshell Jacket

The athletic-cut Vioz men's jacket offers breathable insulation and comfortable temperature regulation, making it ideal for changeable weather and stop-and-go mountain sports in autumn and winter.

It features a waterproof and windproof, breathable Powertex fabric. The exceptionally breathable 2.5-layer shell material (water column: 10,000 mm, RET value: 40,000 g/m²/24h) provides reliable weather protection at a low weight and includes welded seams as well as a PFC-free DWR finish (durable water repellent).

Active insulation. Our exclusive hybrid padding made from Polartec® Alpha® Direct wool blend makes this jacket a truly special piece. The interwoven fibers are connected to a solid mesh core, allowing excess heat to escape before it can build up and lead to an uncomfortably cool, damp feeling. The insulation is located beneath a mesh layer and is strategically placed in key areas such as the chest and back, as well as the tops of the sleeves. The additional wool fibers enhance temperature regulation and comfort.

Mountain-specific details. For added protection, there is a high collar integrated into the hood. The hood is also insulated and features an elastic hem at the opening. The Vioz jacket has a zippered chest pocket, ergonomically shaped sleeves with elastic cuffs, and a drawcord system at the hem for protection against wind and weather.
