We have developed the Puez Powertex Hybrid Jacket for day tours as well as for multi-day, demanding trekking endeavours in different terrain and for all weather conditions. With its modern design, high functionality and the option to stow it away completely in its own zip side pocket, it is the ideal choice for adventurous exploration tours.

The Puez Powertex Hybrid Jacket uses two different versions of our proven laminated and weatherproof Powertex® fabric: on the upper body, we use durable, hardwearing 3-layer Powertex® ripstop material for reliable protection from the elements. The other areas are protected by a lighter 2.5-layer Powertex® ripstop, which ensures freedom of movement and also scores points for its small pack size. Both materials have a water column of 10,000 millimetres. The water column describes the pressure required for water to penetrate the fabric. Both fabrics also impress in terms of breathability: at 10,000 g/m2/24h, the material remains vapour permeable even during strenuous ascents. In addition, the seams are fully taped and the front zip is waterproof.

The waterproof jacket has a fully adjustable hood and the two side pockets, each with separate compartments, offer plenty of storage space: The top ones can be closed with a press stud, while the side ones have a zip to keep your mobile or keys safely stowed away. In addition to the underarm zips, press studs on the front provide additional ventilation options - even when the jacket is closed. The cuffs and hem are adjustable.

The jacket is part of the Salewa Committed collection, whose products are manufactured in accordance with our additional environmental and sustainability standards to minimise their ecological footprint. The materials used are made from 100 per cent recycled polyester and have a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) finish that does not harm the environment.
