Active Insulation

We developed the Pedroc Pro Polartec® Alpha® Jacket specifically for these requirements: By using different materials, it ensures an excellent interplay of insulation and breathability. This high functionality is achieved through the combination of our lightweight, breathable, and water-repellent Nylon-Tencel™ fabric in the main material with Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulation inserts in the front and on the upper arms. On the inside, the soft, brushed, and insulating fibers regulate temperature differences and impress with their quick-drying properties.

In the middle of the back and on the forearms, a lightweight Durastrech softshell fabric with a hole structure is used, which further enhances breathability and climate comfort. The stretch mesh inserts provide the necessary freedom of movement during intense activities in the mountains.

With its athletic fit and features such as the lined fleece inner collar, reflective details for increased visibility, and two concealed zip pockets, the jacket is ideal for those who are quickly on the mountain but do not want to compromise on protection, comfort, and functionality. Additionally, the lightweight men's jacket is equipped with a PFC-free, permanently water-repellent DWR coating and meets our additional environmental and sustainability standards as part of the SALEWA® Committed collection.
