Salewa Pedroc Hybrid 2 Polartec® Alpha® Jacket

The rocky ascent was steep and strenuous. A cold wind blows on the ridge, making you feel chilly. It's high time to put on a lightweight insulation jacket. The Pedroc Hybrid 2 is ideal for physically demanding stop-and-go activities in the mountains under extreme temperature fluctuations and changeable conditions. The more effort you exert, the more Polartec® Alpha® adapts to regulate your body temperature.

On the inside of the lightweight, windproof nylon shell, we use Polartec® Alpha® Recycled active insulation in the torso, featuring special lofty fibers connected to a solid mesh core, providing versatile, temperature-regulating protection against the cold when you need it. It continuously releases excess body heat through air exchange, preventing saturation and discomfort.

The ergonomic sleeves and the central back insert are made from our comfortable Polarlite fleece in a knitted grid construction, allowing for warmth with higher breathability and less bulk. The sleeves can also be easily pushed up when it gets hot. The jacket has a close-fitting, athletic cut that stretches to trap warmth while offering excellent freedom of movement. It features a soft inner collar that doesn’t scratch the chin, two chest pockets (one also serves as a compression pocket), and contrasting zippers. Treated with permanent Polygiene® odor control for longer freshness and less frequent washing.
