Product details
The famous steep walls of the Dolomites look pretty formidable, especially up close. To ensure you can carry your gear in the way that feels best to you, we've extensively tested and reviewed the Ortles Wall 38L Backpack in the Dolomites. Now all you have to do is make sure you get on the trail early enough.
Dry Back Contact
The Dry Back Contact carrying system features a padded EVA back panel and 3D ventilation channels that support air circulation and breathability, ensuring that your back stays dry. This helps you avoid a sweaty shoulder and back area and the associated risk of cooling down. With the flat, split shoulder straps, the backpack stays close to the body and ensures maximum freedom of movement.
Focus Mountain
The Ortles Wall includes a tube guide and an outlet for use with a hydration system. Load control and side compression straps, along with a rope strap with magnetic closure on the top, stabilize the stowed equipment. The Ortles Wall also offers smart attachment options for trekking poles and ice axes, as well as for attaching skis both parallel and diagonally with the removable straps that come with the backpack. To help you access your gear quickly, in addition to the roll-top closure, the pack has a side zipper and a front compartment that closes with a water-resistant zipper. By removing the internal stabilization board and the padding of the hip belt, you can save weight.
Sustainable material for backpacks
To withstand the wear and tear of a high alpine environment, we make the Ortles Wall from strong, durable, and abrasion-resistant REGEN ROBIC®, which is 60% more tear-resistant than standard nylon commonly used for backpacks. REGEN ROBIC® is also made from 100% recycled fibers, underlining our commitment to sustainable production.
