The Ortles Tirol Wool Responsive Stretch women's hooded jacket offers lightweight (380 g) all-weather insulation with a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) impregnation. The jacket is great to use as an outer layer when temperatures permit. In harsh weather, however, it can also be used as a versatile midlayer under a shell jacket.

What makes this jacket truly unique is the combination of 4-way stretch nylon shell and elastic fill. The 3D structure of the fleece shell material significantly increases air permeability, elasticity and durability and ensures optimal moisture wicking. It also reduces the overall weight by 20-30%. The ergonomically shaped sleeves and sporty fit provide further weight reduction.

Intelligent insulation
The elastic, 60 g TirolWool® Responsive filling keeps you naturally warm even when wet. Thermoreactive synthetic fibers further enhance the jacket's thermal performance. TirolWool® comes from high alpine Tyrolean mountain sheep. Thermoreactive minerals are introduced into the synthetic yarns, which become firmly bonded to the fiber. They store the body's natural infrared energy, releasing it gradually for greater comfort, better performance and faster recovery.

Storm protection
The infinitely adjustable, insulated hood with a close-fitting cut provides additional storm protection. It has an elastic front opening and is integrated into the high collar. Behind the front zipper is a full-length, interior windproof flap. Two outer pockets and one chest pocket - all with zipper - provide secure storage space.
