Salewa ORTLES HYB RDS DWN Ladies JACKET

A technical down jacket with hybrid insulation for women, ideal for high alpine mountain tours. It features a tailored, insulated hood with adjustment at the back of the head, a protective and comfortable collar integrated into the hood that extends to the chin, as well as Free Motion technology that ensures the jacket stays in place while climbing. The jacket has a waterproof front zipper, a Direct Access® zippered chest pocket, an inner pocket made of elastic mesh with an elastic edge, and a snug elastic waistband that protects against snow and moisture.

The body mapping design incorporates TirolWool® Responsive inserts and offers an ultra-light, down-resistant construction made from bluesign® certified materials. The Ortles RDS Hybrid Down Jacket is designed for changing activities in cold conditions and ensures the right thermal balance during short breaks while high alpine climbing.

It is insulated in key areas such as the front upper body, back, and arms with 90/10, 750 cuin RDS down. In areas that require less insulation, such as the shoulders, robust and breathable 100 grams of TirolWool Responsive is used. The underarms and back, where sweating occurs the most, are equipped with Polartec Alpha Direct Wool to allow body heat and moisture to escape quickly.

The insulation is wrapped in a windproof and water-repellent ripstop outer material with a PFC-free DWR (durable water-repellent) coating to keep rain and snow at bay while retaining warmth. This model is a Salewa Committed product that meets strict, third-party verified standards for sustainability and social responsibility. The outer fabric is bluesign® nylon, and the down is certified according to the Responsible Down Standard. This is our most technical insulation jacket for high alpine climbing.
