Salewa Ortles GTX Pro Jacket

Upper Vinschgau, Trafoi, Sulden – the Ortler region is home to spectacular mixed routes and icefalls. Our men's mountaineering hardshell, developed in close collaboration with mountain guides and professional climbers, is made from waterproof and extremely breathable 3-layer GORE-TEX® Pro (water column: 28,000 mm / RET <6 m²Pa/W). The close-fitting design features an ergonomically shaped, helmet-compatible storm hood with one-hand adjustment and a zipper gusset at the back, allowing you to easily reduce volume when needed. We have integrated a number of pockets specifically designed for mountain activities: including two large, high-positioned chest pockets that are easily accessible even with a climbing harness, direct access to inner layers, and a stretch-mesh inner pocket for spare gloves. The adjustable Velcro cuffs can be worn over gloves, ensuring the sleeves stay in place when making wide movements or using equipment. The jacket also features generous underarm ventilation. Our most technical jacket – ideal for winter and alpine climbing on the steepest routes.
