The Ortles GORE-TEX Pro Stretch Jacket is a high-end alpine hardshell that combines waterproof and extremely breathable 3-layer GORE-TEX Pro with strategically placed GORE-TEX Pro Stretch inserts for greater freedom of movement. Its close-fitting design features an ergonomically shaped, helmet-compatible storm hood that provides an extended field of vision and includes a rear zipper gusset for a precise fit, even when not wearing a helmet. A variety of pockets have been integrated, specifically designed for mountain activities: including two large, high-set chest pockets that are easily accessible even when wearing a climbing harness, and a stretch mesh inner pocket for spare gloves, as well as deep side zippers that offer good ventilation. A soft, comfortable chin guard made of neoprene fabric is attached at the chin, which is very useful on colder days.
