The Ortles GTX 3L Jacket is an alpine hardshell jacket equipped with a new, advanced laminate construction featuring an ePE membrane from GORE-TEX. The comfortable and waterproof main material is made from recycled fabric, is PFAS-free, boasts a significantly reduced CO₂ footprint, and is durable. Additionally, the hardshell jacket is completely windproof to retain body heat and protect against the wind chill effect, preventing significant heat loss due to wind. Nevertheless, it remains highly breathable, effectively wicking moisture away during intense ascents.
Features include a water-repellent two-way front zipper, a helmet-compatible hood, two large pockets that remain accessible even with a climbing harness, an inner zip pocket, and underarm ventilation zippers.
