Inspired by the mighty Ortler, the highest peak in South Tyrol: The Ortler Durastretch Softshell Jacket is designed for changeable autumn, winter, and spring conditions.

Its breathable softshell fabric provides excellent all-round weather protection and warmth. It is made from Naturetec, a lightweight, PFC-free fabric from Swiss functional textile expert Schoeller. The unique softshell material consists of robust, partially recycled polyamide functional fibers, which are interwoven with natural merino wool on the inside, feeling incredibly comfortable against the skin. Durastretch ripstop inserts on the shoulders further enhance durability and abrasion resistance, for example, when wearing a backpack. Additional features include an ergonomic hood that can be worn under a helmet and adjustable cuffs with Velcro.

This Salewa Committed model is also equipped with a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) coating.
