Salewa Ortles Durastretch Jacket

The Ortles Durastretch Jacket by Salewa is a highly functional softshell jacket specifically designed for the variable conditions of autumn, winter, and spring. Inspired by the majestic Ortler ice wall, this jacket not only offers excellent weather protection but also optimal thermal comfort. The breathable softshell fabric maintains a pleasant body temperature, while the innovative Free-Motion cut ensures full freedom of movement and prevents the hem from riding up while climbing. Made from lightweight Schoeller®-Naturetec fabric, the jacket combines robust, partially recycled polyamide functional fibers with a natural merino wool blend on the inside for a comfortable wearing experience. The Durastretch ripstop structure in the shoulder area enhances durability, while the Direct Access System allows for quick access to your avalanche transceiver. The newly developed hood with a high, strap-compatible collar provides additional comfort and visibility, while the PFC-free DWR coating ensures water repellency.
