The Ortles Merino Jacket is a lightweight, quick-drying, and breathable fleece jacket made from a hybrid polyester-merino material blend. Thanks to the high proportion of merino wool, the fabric feels particularly pleasant against the skin, is breathable, and keeps you warm in cold conditions. The jacket features an athletic cut and is designed based on the body mapping principle to provide the right material for different body areas. For additional weather protection, the robust, wind-resistant outer material on the front and shoulders is equipped with a PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating.

With a high elastane content in the Alpine Merino main material, the jacket offers four-way stretch. Combined with ergonomically shaped sleeves and shoulder areas, it guarantees full freedom of movement—whether you're tackling challenging movements on ice, mixed climbing, or ski mountaineering. For added abrasion resistance, Polarlite Wool inserts with durable Cordura are used on the shoulders and sleeves.

The jacket comes with features such as a high protective collar, sleeve cuffs with integrated thumb loops for extra cold protection, and two large zippered chest pockets.
