Product details
The Ortles Alpine Wool Mid Layer Women's Jacket, named after the highest mountain in the Eastern Alps outside the Bernina group, is a lightweight and breathable hybrid softshell jacket designed for skiing and high-altitude tours.
Alpine Merino with Bodymapping Design
For this jacket, we use a hybrid thermo-knitted fabric made from merino and poly wool fibers, which is not only warm but also quick-drying and feels comfortable against the skin. The athletic fit is based on a bodymapping design, where different areas of the upper body are equipped with specific insulation levels.
Stretch Comfort
The addition of elastane fibers gives the fabric a mechanical 4-way stretch comfort, and the ergonomic sleeve and shoulder design enhances freedom of movement. A Polarlite wool-Cordura blend is used in the shoulder and sleeve areas, protecting against tears, scratches, and abrasion. For the collar, we use a soft inner lining that further enhances comfort. The elastic cuffs with thumb loops provide extra protection against the cold, and both outer pockets are equipped with zippers.
The Ortles Alpine Wool Jacket is an innovative and functional hybrid wool softshell jacket.
