Umbrella made from recycled PET. A sturdy pocket umbrella featuring a robust mix of steel and fiberglass. It fits securely in the hand thanks to its ergonomic grip design and wrist strap. Easy-to-use manual opener with a large canopy that should be dried after each use in the rain. Windproof: No damage from the canopy flipping inside out. Tested in a wind tunnel at speeds of up to 80 km/h. Cover made of quick-drying, water-repellent polyester fabric with a recycled PET coating.

The product is part of the amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative, established in 2003 to improve social standards in the global supply chain. The Brussels-based organization offers companies the adoption of a code of conduct as well as a systematic monitoring and qualification system. This code is based on international agreements to protect workers' rights and includes eleven key elements: management practices, no precarious employment, working hours, compensation, child labor, forced labor, freedom of association, discrimination, working conditions, health and social facilities, health and safety at work, and environmental protection and special protection for young employees.

The product and/or packaging are made from recycled raw materials, which is more environmentally friendly as the raw materials do not need to be newly sourced at high cost. Yogurt cups, single-use bottles, plastic waste, and film packaging are incorporated into the manufacturing process through recycling.
