The UV protection factor 50+ has been tested according to the standard EN 13758-1 +A1. The product only protects the skin underneath. UV protection may be compromised if the product fits very tightly, if the fabric is stretched, or if it is wet. Additionally, wear and tear, pool chemicals, and saltwater can diminish the protection over time.
