Reima Naapuri

This jacket combines a classic look with arctic-ready performance. "Naapuri" is the Finnish word for "neighbor." We named our parka this way because in Finland, it is common for children to inherit durable and classic garments like this one from relatives or even from neighboring kids. Why do we believe this late 1990s classic is so special? The waterproof, breathable material and sealed seams make it a true year-round champion. A lesser-known but still valuable feature is the "Lifesaver" loop under the flap of the right front pocket: here you can hang your reflector to stay safe in traffic without piercing the waterproof material. The icing on the cake is the removable faux fur trim, which is more than just an embellishment: it helps trap warm air around the face, reducing the risk of frostbite. To protect the winters of our children and our neighbors, the outer fabric of this Reima Original-style parka is made of 50% recycled fibers, and the warm, lofty insulation is made of 100% recycled material.
