Rab Women's Microlight Alpine Jacket

The Microlight Alpine Down Jacket for women is a lightweight down jacket designed for situations where warmth, weight, and compact pack size are priorities. Rab places great importance on the use of existing raw materials and manufactures the insulation jacket entirely from recycled materials. The core of the jacket is made from recycled, RDS-certified down with a water-repellent Nikwax® finish. This makes it well protected against (sweat) moisture, allowing it to be used effectively in active mountain sports. The weather protection from the outside is provided by the Pertex® Quantum outer material with a water-repellent treatment, which is also windproof and very durable. Cut slim and long, with long sleeves and an extended back, the Microlight Alpine Down Jacket is suitable as an outer layer as well as an intermediate layer under a weather jacket. The hood is adjustable and features a laminated brim with a flexible polymer visor. Individual adjustments are made through small pulls inside the jacket, ensuring a clean fit around the face with perfect weather protection over the eyes. The high-positioned, spacious pockets are easily accessible even with a climbing harness or a closed backpack hip belt, offering surprisingly ample storage space. For transport, the down jacket can be well compressed, making it fit comfortably in small backpacks.
