The new design also incorporates "intelligent" insulation. The zoned micro and nano chambers keep the down securely in place, preventing it from shifting and providing better warmth without additional weight, bulk, or restricted movement. The vest is suitable for everyday wear as well as part of a layering system in the mountains, and is complemented by a weather-resistant DWR coating, two large, harness-compatible zippered hand pockets, a warm, down-filled collar, and a hem with drawcord.
