The water column (Schmerber) measures the waterproofness of a fabric. The higher the value, the drier you stay. A jacket with a 10,000 mm water column withstands the pressure of a 10 m water column.

Care instructions:

• 15 minutes in the dryer to reactivate the water-repellent treatment of the fabric.
• Use detergent for waterproof, technical products as well as a liquid impregnation agent.
• Water-repellent reactivation spray.

Close zippers and turn the jacket inside out. Then machine wash at 30 °C. To avoid detergent residues, use slightly less detergent (preferably for waterproof clothing) and run a second rinse cycle. Spin at low speed to avoid damaging the jacket.
