The Puma LaMelo Ball MB02 Supernova is a sneaker resulting from a collaboration between the lifestyle brand and NBA player LaMelo LaFrance Ball. It is finished in a fiery orange hue, while the engineered mesh upper is fortified with tonal no-sew overlays. The shoe also features a TPU heel clip marked with LaMelo’s signature Wings logo. PUMA’s Formstrip adorns the lateral side, while the opposite side features a hidden "RARE" graphic in contrasting blue lettering. The shoe rides on PUMA’s NITRO foam midsole, built with compression-molded EVA foam for cushioning. Underfoot, a second "RARE" graphic embellishes the feather-tread rubber outsole. The Puma LaMelo Ball MB02 Supernova was released on October 21, 2022, at a retail price of $130.
