Product details

Gore-Tex products provide you with durable and reliable weather protection. The Gore-Tex membrane is the core of this technology. It consists of an extremely thin layer of stretched polytetrafluoroethylene and features 1.4 billion pores per square centimeter. This makes Gore-Tex materials both breathable and waterproof as well as windproof. The Gore-Tex membrane is ultimately bonded with the inner lining and the outer material of the respective product, a process known as Gore-Tex laminating. The outer material also has a super-thin water-repellent treatment, allowing water to bead off rather than penetrate. As a result, Gore-Tex products offer tailored solutions for your activities and specific climatic conditions.
