Pitchfork Boonie Hat L/XL

While maintaining the classic shape of a Boonie hat, the top is slightly sloped, measuring 40 mm at the front and 50 mm at the back. In the upper area, there is a 50 x 50 mm Velcro surface for attaching an IR-reflective patch. The sides feature eyelets for air circulation: small enough to keep out rain, yet large enough to ensure basic ventilation. Around the hat, we have used the same polyester-cotton material instead of stiff webbing. An elastic cord is sewn around the circumference, allowing for infinite size adjustment for a perfect fit. The chosen size is maintained by a stopper at the back. The brim is slightly narrower than usual, just perfect, in our opinion. All other features of standard models, such as the chin strap or neck cover, have been omitted. Functionality through simplicity.

Made from a high-quality 65/35 polyester-cotton blend fabric specifically developed for the Pitchfork product line, this modern reinterpretation of the classic Boonie jungle hat will be your reliable companion—whether in hot, cold, or rainy conditions. Unlike other colors, this fabric does not have a technologically advanced "near Infrared" (nIR) treatment to reduce the visual signature when viewed through modern military night vision devices.
