The robust Pertex Quantum material on the outside provides protection, while inside, Swisswool Black, the rare wool from black sheep in the Swiss Alps, is used in varying weights: it warms with 150 g/m² at the front and in the upper sleeve area, while lighter 120 g/m² is used in the hood and lower sleeve area to reduce bulk. The adjustable sleeve cuffs with elastic inner cuffs fit comfortably over gloves and effectively keep the wind out, just like the high collar with fine Merino mesh inside. The Swisswool Zinal Jacket for women also offers enough freedom of movement for athletic turns and supports the back with a lining made of 100% Merino wool. For the sake of the environment, it is completely PFC-free, climate-neutral, and sustainably made thanks to the use of renewable raw materials in the insulation.
