Its extremely abrasion-resistant Merino Shield Tec withstands over 50,000 rub cycles in the Martindale test, the standard method for testing abrasion resistance. Additional reinforcements are used in particularly stressed areas such as the shoulders and hips. Nevertheless, the Women's Pala Light Vest is a comfortable softshell that guarantees full freedom of movement with its 4-way stretch material. The athletic cut also contributes to this.

Due to its membrane-free construction, the fine merino wool on the inside, and the Merino Mesh inserts in the collar and hem, the vest is particularly breathable and comfortable to wear. Elastic hem finishes and a convenient adjustment option at the hem ensure an optimal fit even during expansive climbing movements.
