Comprehensive weather protection at minimal weight. The Westalpen Swisswool Jacket by Ortovox is a highly functional, surprisingly lightweight, and warm insulation jacket designed for high mountains. Its premium material blend is wind- and water-repellent, and thanks to the Pertex Quantum Diamond Fuse exterior, it is extremely abrasion-resistant. The high-quality Swisswool wool filling is processed in two thicknesses, providing the right level of insulation for different body areas while keeping weight and pack size to a minimum. Another special feature of the sustainably produced Swisswool filling is that it retains warmth even when wet.

Perfectly coordinated features. The soft inner lining and the storm hood with a high-cut collar help keep wind and weather out while ensuring cozy warmth inside. The whole jacket is perfectly sealed with pre-regulated sleeve cuffs and adjustable hem closures. Despite all the weather protection, the special High-Reach-Fit with longer sleeves and a longer torso ensures freedom of movement in challenging terrain. The 2-way front zipper also allows for easy use with a climbing harness.
