Ortovox Traverse 40

The Traverse backpacks are designed for year-round use on both small and large peaks, with the Traverse 40 particularly suited for multi-day trips with a lot of gear. A well-ventilated back system and good load distribution are essential features of this backpack. The Comfort Contact Back System provides excellent air circulation and increased comfort while carrying, thanks to the ribbed mesh fabric and perforated foam of the back pads. The ergonomically shaped shoulder straps and the wide hip belt evenly distribute the weight across the contact areas.

The Traverse 40 also offers impressive technical features: in addition to a spacious main compartment, the lid pocket and the additional bottom compartment provide ample storage for multi-day trips. Small items can be quickly stowed away in the highly adjustable front pocket. The all-around front zipper allows the Traverse 40 to be fully opened, providing a clear view of the gear inside. The water bottle is always within reach in the elastic side pockets, just like the map in the dedicated map pocket. An integrated helmet net, stowable gear loops at the end of the shoulder straps, and options for attaching trekking poles and skis make the Traverse 40 the perfect companion in alpine terrain.

Additional features such as a hydration system preparation, rain cover, hip pocket, and a holder for items like sunglasses or a camera on the shoulder strap complete this versatile backpack.
