Ortovox TRAD 35

The versatile TRAD35 is a lightweight, robust climbing backpack designed for alpine tours where thoughtful functionality and lightness are essential.

In the lid compartment with a key holder, small items can be stored, while the main compartment is easily accessible either through the large opening at the top or the surrounding zipper. Externally, durable 420D ripstop material with an 88% recycled nylon content protects against abrasion in rugged rocky terrain. Thanks to material loops, ice axe and rope attachments, equipment can be transported securely without unnecessary bulk. The comfortable back system optimally distributes the load across the back and ensures pleasant carrying, with the aluminum frame being removable for climbing. The back length is also designed to provide enough freedom of movement in the neck while climbing, especially when looking up frequently. A hydration system preparation, emergency map, and chest strap with a signal whistle complete this versatile climbing backpack.

Back System: High Flex Contact

The back system of this climbing backpack features a lightweight, removable aluminum frame and a full-contact carrying system. The frame is very flexible but rigid in the horizontal direction to support as much weight as possible. Due to its 3D shape, the climbing backpack fits snugly against the back, ensuring plenty of freedom of movement and maximum carrying comfort.
