Material Merino wool: Since 1995, Merino wool has been an integral part of Ortovox's mountain wear. Wool is naturally ecological and therefore particularly sustainable. The Merino wool comes from happy sheep raised in controlled, animal-friendly conditions in Tasmania, which are regularly monitored. Due to its fine fiber diameter, Merino wool is extremely soft and comfortable against the skin. It provides an optimal body climate as it regulates moisture and temperature while also neutralizing unpleasant odors.
