The temperature-regulating properties are supported by the fine merino wool on the inside: The Tasmanian virgin wool regulates the moisture and temperature balance, dries quickly and has odour-neutralising properties. The merino wool also ensures a comfortable feel. The two chest pockets offer storage space for map material, mobile phone or bar. The hood offers additional protection from wind and weather. ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) Merino wool has been an integral part of ORTOVOX mountain wear since 1995. The merino wool comes from selected farms that meet the company's own ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE wool standard. ORTOVOX thus obtains the virgin wool from sheep from verified and species-appropriate sheep farming. As part of the OWP, the sheep farms are checked in regular audits. The wool is 100% organic by nature and therefore particularly sustainable. Due to the fine wool threads with a small fibre diameter, merino wool is extremely soft and pleasant on the skin.  In addition to comfort, it ensures an optimal body climate, because merino wool regulates moisture and temperature.
