Ortovox Col Becchei

Sweaty ascents, steep descents: Ortovox has developed the Col Becchei especially for demanding ski tours in alpine terrain. Ortovox uses Merino Naturetec Light as the main material to make the athletically cut ski touring jacket particularly light, elastic and robust: it ensures outstanding breathability and elasticity, yet is wind-repellent. On the inside, Tasmanian merino wool offers great comfort and naturally regulates the climate. Technical inserts in the front area, made from a special three-layer Warp Knit material with a windproof membrane, protect against the elements while remaining breathable. At the same time, air pockets in the fabric ensure optimum insulation. For the sake of the environment, the jacket is PFC-FREE and climate-neutral. The details are tailored to demanding tours in alpine terrain: the close-fitting hood protects the head from cooling down and fits easily under a helmet. Ventilation zips under the arms keep you cool on strenuous ascents, while elasticated cuffs keep draughts and snow out. The pockets are backpack-optimised for quick access.
