Ortovox CIVETTA JACKET W 2.5

The 2.5 Civetta Jacket impresses with its combination of minimal weight (68 g/m²) and the high-performance Dermizax® DT membrane from Toray. The 2.5-layer construction features the water column (min. 10,000 mm) of a hardshell, along with the lightness and breathability (min. 20,000 g/m² / 24 h) of a windbreaker. On the inside, the membrane is protected from abrasion by the patented Micro Bead structure, which also enhances comfort against the skin. Tiny embedded beads (Micro Beads) in the structure allow for faster moisture absorption and release to the membrane, creating a dry feeling on the skin.

Features such as the elastic hem and the chest pocket make the Merino hardshell even more functional: the jacket can now be completely stowed in the inner pocket and can be quickly secured to a climbing harness using the internal loop or compactly packed in a backpack. This lightweight jacket is the perfect companion for alpine tours where lightness, a small pack size, and high protection are essential.

Additionally, the highly functional rain jacket is equipped with a self-regulating hood. A surrounding elastic band and a reinforced brim ensure an optimal fit in rain and wind. Subtle Merino Cool inserts enhance comfort around the chin and forehead area. The elastic sleeve cuffs and hem prevent unwanted wind and moisture from entering. There is still enough storage space in the chest pocket for a map, topo, bars, or phone.
