Ortovox Ascent 30 S

The Ascent 30 S ski touring backpack has been specifically designed for women and men with a shorter back – the "S" in the name stands for Short. The back system of this backpack is noticeably shorter. Like the Ascent 32, the ultralight and technical Ascent 30 S is perfect for demanding days in the mountains. Therefore, Ortovox has focused on the essentials and thoughtfully considered every detail. Made from 100D Robic Ripstop nylon, the backpack is extremely lightweight yet abrasion-resistant. Despite the reduction in size, Ortovox has ensured high carrying comfort: the padded 3D back system evenly distributes the load between the hip fins and the lightly padded shoulder straps. Features such as the all-around zipper for quick access to gear, a map pocket, hydration system preparation, as well as diagonal ski fixation, ice axe holder, and rope attachment make the backpack what it is: a technical, ultralight backpack for demanding ski tours. Additionally, the Ascent 30 S comes with the Ortovox emergency card: in case of an emergency, the card provides information about the injured person, enabling faster and more efficient treatment.
