Ortovox Ascent 30 Avabag

The Ascent 30 Avabag is the ideal airbag backpack for long ski tours. Surrounding the Avabag system, there are 30 liters of usable volume for gear. Everything has its place here, from safety equipment to a hydration system, spare clothing, and snacks. The ski touring backpack is equipped with the Avabag airbag system developed by Ortovox: This avalanche airbag system weighs only 690 grams, is remarkably compact, removable, and can be easily deployed repeatedly without a screwed-in cartridge. This allows for practice deployments to ensure quick and correct reactions in case of an emergency. However, a ski touring backpack must not only be functional but also comfortable, which is especially important on long tours. The Ascent 30 features a cushioned 3D back system that is both lightweight and stable, ensuring high carrying comfort.
