Ortovox Ascent 22

The Ascent 22 Avabag is an extremely lightweight avalanche backpack. One of the unique features of the Avabag system is the trigger training: you can practice the trigger repeatedly without a screwed-in cartridge to be prepared for an emergency. One reason for the low weight of the Ascent 22 Avabag is the use of extremely light yet abrasion-resistant materials like 100D Robic Ripstop nylon. This airbag backpack is not only light but also offers a high level of carrying comfort. The padded 3D back system evenly distributes the load between the hip fins and the lightly padded shoulder straps. Features such as a full-length front zipper for quick access to gear, diagonal ski fixation, ice axe holder, and rope attachment make this backpack what it is: a technical, ultralight avalanche backpack for demanding ski tours.
