Oakley Holbrook

Together with his brother Jesse as creative director, snowboard superstar Shaun White closely collaborated with Oakley in the development of the Holbrook. With a burst of creative energy, they drew inspiration from vintage designs like the original Oakley Frogskins and filtered it into their own American thoroughbred original. The Holbrook features a timeless classic design that pays homage to the screen heroes of the 40s, 50s, and 60s – cult figures whose indomitable will shaped that generation. What type of man did they embody? A legend – sometimes a loner, sometimes a leader, an average guy who lived with integrity, stood up for what was right, and always did what needed to be done. However, he wouldn’t be called a macho, as he was indifferent to all that chauvinism. He was authentic – from the dust on his shoes to his gaze that made it clear he could disappear in an instant because there was nothing holding him back.
