Oakley High Definition Optics (HDO) is the combination of the best and patented optical technologies. With the specially developed lens design of Oakley sun protection lenses, you experience the highest precision of vision. With the correction of prismatic and refractive error, Oakley enables perfect and aberration-free (distortion-free) vision. UV protection: Oakley sunglasses have a high-quality filter against harmful UV radiation. Oakley integrates the UV protection directly into the Plutonite plastic lens material. This blocks 100% of UVA, UVB and UVC rays as well as harmful blue light up to a wavelength of 400nm. Conventional sun protection lenses often have a thin protective filter on the surface. This can easily be scratched and therefore UV protection is no longer guaranteed. The Oakley UV filter is therefore not dependent on the tint or colour.
