Typically, when dyeing denim, some of the dyes are absorbed by the cotton fibers, while the rest only adheres to the surface of the threads. This results in denim having aging properties, which are desired in many cases. However, this is not always the case with black jeans, which is why we developed Everblack denim. The technical difference between Everblack denim and regular black denim is that a method and type of dye are used that allow for better absorption and stronger fixation. The result is a denim whose color is much more resilient and does not change over time with use and washing.
